Do I need to buy Vasco Translator E1 to use Vasco Audience?

No. Vasco Audience is a stand-alone service that works with any speaker audio source connected to your device, such as earbuds, a microphone or a wired line-in source. However, using the Vasco Translator E1 earbud unlocks additional features: multiple speakers and multiple languages. You can connect up to 6 E1 earbuds to Vasco Audience so that for every E1 earbud, a different language could be chosen.

How do I set up my first event as a speaker?

It’s very simple.

Click “Create new session”, fill in the session name, and choose the speaker’s language from the available list.
Select participant options (ON/OFF) for: downloading transcripts, asking questions, and listening to the event.
After saving, you’ll see an individual QR code linked to the session, which you can share.
Enter the session and click the PLAY button to start broadcasting.

Remember: the speaker’s audio source is whichever audio input is set as default for your device (e.g., an external microphone if one is connected).

Participants can scan the provided QR code or join through the provided link and session code. The service works in any web browser on any device (mobile, tablet, laptop, etc.).
