We have reached another milestone with the opening of our office in Shenzhen, one of China’s key technology centres. The choice of China is justified, among other reasons, because of its huge tourist traffic – the country is number 1 in the world in terms of spending on foreign travel. According to the World Tourism Organisation, Chinese residents spent USD 196.5 billion on trips in 2023. Vasco translators will be available for sale at China’s three largest electronics shop chains at Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou airports, which handle huge passenger traffic.
To celebrate the official entry into the Chinese market, we organised a special event in Shenzhen. The event was attended by Maciej Góralski, founder and CEO of Vasco, who presented the company’s development plans in Asia and discussed the brand’s strategy in the demanding Chinese market.
– China is an extremely important market for us, which is why we are already working with our Chinese employees and partners to develop new distribution channels for our devices, including their availability in further key sales points in the country, said Maciej Góralski during his speech.
We are not slowing down and are consistently implementing our development plans. We believe that the introduction of technologically advanced translators to such a demanding market as China is proof that our innovations can successfully compete with the best in the world.
