Vasco Translator Q1 – a new dimension in translators

A new, innovative device is joining the range of Vasco Electronics products – the Vasco Translator Q1. It is the brand’s most advanced model, featuring unique functions such as user voice cloning for translations and real-time voice translation during phone calls.

Vasco Translator Q1 is the company’s flagship premium product, and the most advanced, durable, and feature-rich translating device in the brand’s portfolio. It was designed for both individual and business users. Whether it’s ordering food in a foreign restaurant, attending an industry conference, or handling unexpected situations while traveling, Q1 is up to the task. It supports voice translations in 86 languages, and for text and photo translations, this number increases to more than 100. But there’s more: Vasco Translator Q1 allows users to create a digital version of their voice, so the conversation partner hears the translation … spoken in our very own voice.

“This innovation makes conversations feel more natural than ever. Vasco Translator Q1 is the only translator that speaks in your own voice,” says Maciej Góralski, CEO of Vasco. “Another breakthrough is the Call Translator, enabling real-time translation during phone conversations. Thanks to this, we can make calls without language barriers – for example, when we want to communicate with our host in a rented apartment or in any emergency situation.”

The new Vasco My Voice feature is available in 54 languages, with a similar number supported for translations during phone calls. Another convenient feature is Automatic Mode, where the translator detects the spoken language and translates it into the target language. Of course, users can also manually select the languages and operate the device using physical buttons.

“Technologically, Vasco Translator Q1 is a huge step forward. But it’s the users’ perception and experience that truly matter. And they get a beautifully designed device that makes communication easier than ever before,” adds Tomasz Stomski, Chief Product Officer of Vasco. “This is the result of work by our linguists, programmers, AI specialists, and user experience experts. Anyone who chooses Vasco Translator Q1 will see it’s a completely new standard among translators.”

This device, similar to other offerings of the brand, is capable of utilizing about 10 translation engines, automatically selecting the one most effective for each language pair. It requires an internet connection, but thanks to the built-in SIM card, it provides free and unlimited network access for translations in nearly 200 countries.

The translator understands different accents and speaking styles, ensuring accurate transcription of what was said, and allows users to choose between male and female voices. It also features Photo and Text Translators. The device is equipped with a drop-proof screen, a powerful speaker, and a battery that allows for at least 8 hours of continuous active use.

Vasco, already recognized for the design and ergonomics of its devices, has once again combined attractive looks with ease of use. The Translator Q1 comes in four colors – a subtle purple, a deep red, a dark blue, and a classic black. Lightweight and compact, it features a microphone with noise reduction. This allows the device to recognize speech more effectively, improving the quality of translations. Depending on user preferences, it can be operated via a touchscreen or physical buttons.

The Vasco Translator Q1 has been available on the manufacturer’s website since September 8.
