We stayed true to this objective until this day, and we are happy to say that we took part in another initiative that fulfills our mission.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Last year, we started cooperation with Quinnipiac University (Hamden, USA). At the time, they launched a Student Consulting Project, which aimed at making communication between students (and their families) and academic organizations easier. Students have expressed a preference for using these standalone devices over smartphone translation apps.<\/div>\r\n<h4 class=\"question3\">What is the goal of <a href='https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/'>Vasco Electronics<\/a>?<\/h4>\r\n<div class=\"answer3\" style=\"margin-bottom: 40px;\">The goal of <a href='https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/'>Vasco Electronics<\/a> is to simplify communication among people worldwide, making it more accessible and efficient.<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quinnipiac University understands it well and decided to make an additional effort towards enhancing the communication with students and their families.<\/span> \u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_can_Vasco_Translator_help\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How can Vasco Translator help?<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As stated in the beginning of this article, our main goal in <a href='https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/'>Vasco Electronics<\/a> is to facilitate communication among all the people around the world. We noticed the struggle that students and their families may have when studying in the new country of residence and saw this as a field where our devices might prove helpful.\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Academics may use it not only to communicate with students and their families using a <a href='https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/features\/translate-voice'>Voice Translation<\/a> feature, but also lend them to the others during lectures. This way, students can use a <a href='https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/features\/translate-photos'>Photo Translator<\/a> to understand text around them: on a board, in the textbook or a University class chat. This is especially useful for those who are accustomed to a different writing system in their own language, e.g. students from Arabic countries.<\/span> \u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Our_collaboration\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our collaboration<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Student Consulting Project incorporated the use of Vasco Translators at 2 schools in Hamden and New Haven for 3 semesters until late Spring 2022.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We were moved to hear that the positive feedback was beyond expectations &#8211; both from teachers and students.\u00a0<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The device&#8217;s <\/span><b>high accuracy and ease of use<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> were the two comments made by people who tested it most frequently. The teachers stressed the value of the Vasco Translators, particularly when talking to parents with limited English proficiency. The student team also tested this <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">real time translator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the University\u2019s equipment. Similar to that, they said that devices are easy to use and accurate when translating.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Interestingly enough, students emphasized that they prefer to use a standalone device rather than a translation app in a smartphone. The main reason for this was that apps demand transferring mobile devices from hand to hand. A standalone <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/vasco-translator.com\/translators\/vasco-translator-m3\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pocket translator<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> eliminates this inconvenience.\u00a0<\/span> \u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Whats_for_the_future\"><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What\u2019s for the future?<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Such a fruitful collaboration couldn\u2019t pass without talking of continuity. We hope to engage in more future projects of Quinnipiac University to further facilitate the communication between academics and students.
